Officers Want to Present A Paper?

 

APRIL 5, 6, 7, and 8, year 2000, ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO.  The American Philosophical Association Pacific Division annual meeting.  Location is the Albuquerque Hyatt (downtown next to the plaza for those who know the brown town).  AIPA will be involved more or less with five (5) sessions.  (The Albuquerque Board of Holy Commerce and Saintly Tourism begs you to take note of the following Holy Decree by the Albuquerque City Council: they have apparently decided to pay thousands of dollars to erect a memorial statue near Old Town part of which is a figure of Onate the "first" Spanish one to make it into "New Mexico" and who because of his (gag) moral behavior was banished for life from the place by his own Spanish people (e.g., he cut off the feet of Pueblo Indians who dared to resist his Divine Right to Go Where He Damn Well Pleases).)
