After the statements of the APA, the central source for all matters academic is the American Association of University Professors (AAUP). A few crucial articles are listed below, and more are available on the AAUP website. The full collection, however, is available only in the Redbook: Policy Documents & Reports, 9th edition, ISBN 0-9649548-1-8 (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2001), which is updated in issues of Academe.
