Philosophy as a Profession

Data on the Profession

At the 1997 meeting of the Board of Officers, the Board asked the National Office to post on the web site statistics it had gathered about the profession and to add to these postings as more information becomes available.  Part of the purpose of these data are to assist those who are considering graduate school or a career in philosophy, as well as those who are advising such people.  If there is particular information members would find useful, send a request to apaOnline@udel.edu.
