These fellowships will be awarded for the academic year 2008-09 to outstanding scholars and teachers interested in devoting a year in residence at Princeton writing about ethics and human values. Applicants typically have a doctorate or a professional post-graduate degree and cannot be in the process of writing a dissertation. Fellows normally receive stipends of up to one-half their academic year salaries (not exceeding a maximum stipend set each fall) for the fellowship period, which extends from September 1st to June 30th. PENDING ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVAL: The University of St. Thomas, Department of Philosophy, invites applications for at least one visiting (one-year) full-time position to begin September 2007, at the rank of assistant professor or instructor. The teaching load will be six courses (three a semester); most, and perhaps all, of these will be sections of the two core courses the department teaches: Philosophy of the Human Person, and Ethics.
