The Department of Philosophy at the University of Guelph invites applications for a one-year contractually limited position at the Assistant Professor level to start July 1, 2007. Area of specialization: Ancient Philosophy; area of competency: Ethics or Social/Political Philosophy would be an asset. Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in Philosophy and evidence of excellence in research and teaching. Deadline for receipt of applications is May 25, 2007. Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) invites applications for a two-year Contractually
Limited Term Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in Philosophy,
beginning July 1, 2007, and ending June 30, 2009. Candidates should
have a Ph.D. in Philosophy completed or near completion. AOS: Open.
AOC: Open. Candidates with a record of excellence in both research
and teaching will be given preference. The successful candidate will
teach five term-length undergraduate courses per year in the Department
of Humanities, UTSC, and will have the opportunity to participate
in our tricampus graduate department. Applicants should send a letter
