From the Editor

The Editor solicits short commentaries on the logic and impact of the June 28, 2000 U.S. Supreme Court decision that permits the Boy Scouts to exclude homosexuals from certain positions. These commentaries should run to 500-words (or so) and should deal with various conceptual and ethical issues involved in the case: the logic of the majority opinion, the logic of the dissent, the social impact of the decision, and so on. The commentaries will follow a short summary of the case and, so, should not contain long expositions of the decision itself. Interested parties should contact the editor as soon as practical: Timothy F. Murphy, Dept. of Medical Education m/c 591, 808 S. Wood St., Chicago IL 60612-7309. Phone: 312 996.3595. Fax: 312.413.2048. Email: tmurphy@uic.edu.
