Sharon Crasnow is an associate professor of philosophy in the Department of Arts, Humanities, and World Languages at Riverside Community College, Norco Campus. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California (1980). She has published in Hypatia and Philosophy of Science. Her current research includes work on objectivity, realism/antirealism, and evidence in feminist philosophy of science, with particular emphasis on the social sciences. Sharon.crasnow@rcc.edu
M. Carmela Epright is an associate professor of philosophy at Furman University, where she teaches courses in ethics, bioethics, and feminist philosophy. In addition, she serves as a clinical bioethicist and ethics consultant to numerous medical and social service entities, including the South Carolina Medical Association, the Greenville Hospital System, and SpringBrook Behavioral Heath Care. She has published articles on bioethics, moral theory, political philosophy, and moral psychology. Her current research focuses upon the legal and moral implications of psychiatric diagnosis and treatment. carmela.epright@furman.edu
